The Hussein family, a sibling group of ten, moved to the northern inland city of Kramfors from the Iraqi part of Kurdistan in the nineties. Half of the siblings are now managers of various businesses in the municipality and the rest run their own companies that have made an impression in Kramfors in various ways.
The eldest brother, Mattin Hussein, has been running the pizzeria Sylos for twenty years after practicing there during his high school years. During the year that Mattin took over, he worked twelve hours a day, seven days a week.
He also received help from his brothers, especially his younger brother Saffin who has worked as an employee since Mattin took over.
Like many others, the Hussein family has sought refuge in Sweden in the pursuit of a better life. Now the family has taken the future into their own hands and their drive and commitment continues to make an impression in Kramfors municipality
